OK, so we have been training all week, I just haven't had time to blog about it. So here is the week in a nutshell.
Today:
Ran 5 miles at race pace... well slower than race pace, but it was supposed to be race pace. We will get there. Felt good, but was really hot. I'm going to have to sit in the pool to get rid of these sports bra tan lines.
I'm adding a new category to the end, calories burned. Since I've gotten my new Garmin, there are lots of really cool things I can do. I LOVE IT!!

Average Pace: 8:53 per mile (yuck) I need to get Jason in better shape quick!

Thursday, September 3:
5.01 miles around the neighborhood in 44 minutes and 51.09 seconds. 5am run!

Wednesday, September 2:
Ran 3 mile loop around the neighborhood. It was really cloudy and the Garmin only said we ran 1.04 in 26 minutes and 33.36 seconds. Oh well...
Average Pace: 8:51 per mile

Aches and Pains: Right knee cap felt weird -- I think it was the week off due to illness.
